This notice explains, in plain language, how we handle information about you. We have tried to write it the way we would explain it to you in person, because a privacy notice you cannot understand protects nobody.
Eagle Pen Global Enterprise (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a writing, publishing and visual-communication business registered in Nigeria under Business Name Registration No. 3585862, with its office at 150 Ovwian Road, Ovwian, Udu, Delta State, Nigeria.

When you contact us or engage us, you may give us your name, telephone or WhatsApp number, email address, postal address, the details of your project, and any manuscript, notes, transcripts, photographs or documents you choose to share with us.
We keep the scope we agree with you, the drafts and correspondence we exchange, and our invoices and payment records. We need these to do the work properly and to keep lawful business accounts.
Nothing. This website has no contact forms, no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers. You can read every page without telling us who you are. Our hosting provider records ordinary technical information — such as IP address, time and pages requested — in server logs for security and reliability, as every web host does.
We never ask you for card numbers, PINs or banking passwords, and we do not store them. Where a payment is made through a bank or a payment service, your financial details are handled by that institution and are not held by us.
We use your information only for these purposes:
We do not use your information to market unrelated services to you, and we will only send you news or offers if you have asked us to.
Your manuscript, life story, family records, interview transcripts and any unpublished material you place in our hands are treated as confidential.
We do not publish them, quote from them, circulate them or use them as samples of our work without your written permission. Inside our business, only the people actually working on your project see them. This confidentiality does not end when the project ends.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We share it only where it is genuinely necessary, and only the minimum required:
Where someone outside our business handles your material, we ask them to keep it confidential and to use it only for your project.
Most of it remains with us in Nigeria. Some of it passes through the ordinary services we use for communication and storage — email, for example, or cloud storage — and those services may hold data outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to see that your information is protected.
We keep enquiries and project records only for as long as we need them: while your project is active, and afterwards for as long as the law and sound business practice require — for tax and accounting purposes, for example, or to answer a question about work we did for you.
When we no longer need your information, we delete it or return it to you. You may also ask us to delete your material sooner, and we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.
We protect your information with reasonable measures: access is limited to those who need it, our devices and accounts are password-protected, and confidential files are handled with care.
We will not pretend there is no risk. No method of storing or sending information is perfectly secure. What we can promise is that we take the protection of your work seriously, and that if anything happens which affects you, we will tell you promptly and plainly.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to:

Our services are intended for adults. Where a project concerns a child, a parent or guardian must give consent and be party to the agreement.
If we change how we handle information, we will update this notice and the date at the top of the page. Where a change materially affects you, we will bring it to your attention directly rather than leave it to be discovered here.
